Modeling, documentation, coordination, QC — the production layer of BIM is where schedules slip and budgets bleed. It rarely needs your most senior people, yet it consumes them anyway.
Drawings fall behind. Clashes surface in the field instead of the model. A workset gets misnamed and three weeks later it's an RFI. The expensive part of a project isn't the design — it's everything required to deliver it cleanly.

Questions firms ask before they hand us a model.
What exactly does Forma deliver?
Production BIM: disciplinary modeling, documentation and drawing sets, MEP/structural coordination and clash resolution, model QC, and Dynamo/Python automation. We work to your BEP, standards and template — and review every package before it ships.
How does scope and pricing work?
Every engagement starts with a short call to understand the project. We then define deliverables, LOD and timeline in writing before anything starts — fixed scope, no surprise invoices. Pricing is set per project once scope is clear.
What software do you work with?
Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks and Python. For IFC workflows we use IfcOpenShell. For firms on Autodesk Construction Cloud or Procore, we work inside your existing environment. We do not currently support ArchiCAD or Tekla.
Can you help if we don't have a BIM Execution Plan yet?
Yes. Documentation work includes BEP-aligned sheet structure, view naming and workset discipline. If you need a BEP authored first, we scope that as a separate deliverable.
How is Forma different from a freelance modeler?
A modeler builds manually. We deliver a coordinated, QC'd, documented package to your standard — and the automation we build is reusable by your team, not a one-off. Every deliverable gets senior review before it leaves.
Do you work remotely with firms outside Costa Rica?
Yes. Our primary market is the US mid-market, fully remote, plus Costa Rica and LATAM. The combination of certified senior review and CR cost is what makes fair fixed scopes possible.
